Data Governance Regulatory Analyst will be a role placed in the Global Chief Data Office (CDO) organization. The purpose of the role is to evaluate data governance regulatory obligations, design and implement and oversee assurance and controls frameworks regarding relevant regulations.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for

As Data Governance Regulatory Analyst you will

  • Analyze data-related regulations, guidance, obligations to determine applicability to State Street’s businesses and recommend updates to relevant policies, standards, and controls.
  • Actively engage with CDO colleagues and business units to review data related regulatory obligations and define assurance/controls frameworks enabling oversight of compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Participate in creating reports and provide in-depth analyses on the subject of regulation.
  • Create OKRs and other key measures quantifying level of compliance, indicating gaps, risk/issues and focus areas.
  • Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with various stakeholders to ensure their support and collaboration

  • Experience in audit, assurance, control, project management roles
  • Experience in creating, maintaining and automating reports
  • Ability to provide analytics and consultancy to Senior Management regarding data regulations.
  • Understanding of regulations that have data touchpoints with BCBC 239 but also NYDFS AML, GDPR, RDARR, CCPA, etc.
  • Understanding of data concepts (previous experience in data governance, master data management domains is a plus).
  • Understanding of assurance/control frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills and influencing capabilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Experience in managing multiple projects on top of regular activities
  • Strong cultural awareness and ability to operate in diverse and dynamic business environment.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Technology or equivalent.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Finance industry, Technology Business, Data, Access Management, Project Management, Business Analysis
  • 5+ years in Data Governance role or in role with focus on data/business analysis, data administration/processing/access is a plus.

Minimum Salary:

zł182,004 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
