About the role
As the Data & Analytics Manager, you will establish and lead the Data Analytics function at Range, building the foundation for how data drives decision-making across the company. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders—spanning product, engineering, operations, finance, and leadership—to make data more accessible, scalable, and actionable.
We're excited to hire this role at Range's Headquarters in McLean, VA. All of our positions follow an in-office schedule Monday through Friday, allowing you to collaborate directly with your team. What you’ll do with us
Establish and build the Data Analytics function, setting the strategy, structure, and processes for data-driven decision-making.
Develop and enhance data accessibility cross-functionally by creating reports, dashboards, and self-service analytics tools using BI platforms.
Coordinate with Engineering to design and maintain a scalable data infrastructure, including Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, ensuring data quality and consistency across systems.
Define and uphold data governance standards, enabling accuracy, transparency, and compliance across business intelligence and analytics workflows.
Translate complex data findings into insights and recommendations that support strategic business initiatives and measurable outcomes.
What will set you apart
BS or BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or another quantitative discipline.
7+ years of experience in Data & Analytics roles, with proven success driving organizational insights and impact.
Strong technical expertise with SQL, Python, R, and/or Spark for data extraction, analysis, and modeling.
Proficiency with Business Intelligence (BI) tools for data visualization and reporting (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
