Job Description

Are you a thoughtful and analytical systems analyst with a passion for data? We're on the hunt for a talented Product Data Business Systems Analyst to join the IT Data Analytics & Business Insights team as we embark on an exciting journey: implementing a brand-new product data master!

In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in shaping how we manage our product data, ensuring its accuracy, accessibility, and integrity across the organization. You'll partner closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable system requirements and play a key role in shaping a complex data model.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the charge on requirements: You'll be the go-to expert for gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing key requirements for our new product data master solution, specifically within the Oracle Product Data Hub.
• Bridge the gap between business and technology: Collaborate with diverse teams to understand business processes related to product data and translate those needs into technical specifications and innovative solutions.
• Drive successful implementation: From planning to execution, you'll be deeply involved in testing, training, and providing ongoing support for the implemented systems, ensuring a smooth transition and user adoption.
• Be a strategic partner: Work closely with our Business Analyst and other stakeholders to streamline product data management processes and contribute to our overall data governance strategy.
• Stay ahead of the curve: Keep your finger on the pulse of industry best practices and emerging technologies in product data management, bringing fresh ideas and continuous improvement to our team.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a strong understanding of complex enterprise architecture & focus on data-driven projects.

• A deep understanding of product data management and its critical role in business operations.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues and design effective solutions.

• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with Oracle Product Data Hub, Informatica P360, or similar master data management systems is a significant plus.

• A proactive and curious mindset, always looking for ways to optimize processes and leverage technology for business success.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of technical experience

• AND 5+ years of designing systems or data models

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Science, Computer Science, or related field

• 5 Years of related experience minimum

• Proven experience in working with or managing Oracle Product Data Hub, Informatica P360, or similar Product Information Master systems

• Strong understanding of product data management processes and best practices, preferrably in an Oracle enviroment

• Proficiency in requirement gathering, documentation, and translating business needs into technical specifications

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

• Experience with data conversions, imports, transformations, and data mapping

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices
