Our mission is to standardize and surface high-fidelity shopper insights—including profiles, preferences, behaviors, and objectives—through a scalable framework that optimizes customer engagement and decision-making across the entire shopping ecosystem.

We are looking for a customer-obsessed Software Development Manager to lead our Shopping Context initiatives that support critical shopping experiences across Amazon. The CDF team owns tier-1 services including Customer Context API (CCAPI), the Slate ecosystem (Slate library and SlateTokenService), DeviceContextService (DCS), and the Customer Intent Authority (CIA) object—all of which are essential to powering ranking, personalization, and accurate offers across Amazon's shopping surfaces. As a Software Development Manager on the CDF team, you will be responsible for driving the vision and execution of next-generation context sharing capabilities that enable AI-powered shopping experiences. You will work closely with senior leaders across the Store ecosystem, AmazonAPI, and personalization teams to redefine how shopping context is captured, shared, and utilized to create seamless customer experiences.
