Amazon Web Services Infrastructure Services team provides comprehensive technical support throughout the design, planning, delivery, and operation of Amazon Web Services infrastructure. We support data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure the customers of Amazon Web Services have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations technical support managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across Amazon and our operating partners to help Amazon Web Services deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for the customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

Data Center Technician provides technical support to designs, installs & maintains the large Cloud Computing Infrastructure in our Data Centers. We are looking for skilled Data Center Technical Support Technicians with a passion for technology to help us expand the support of DC infrastructure operation to the next level.
The Our data centers to be supported are large-scale high-density centers where you will be working on changing the face of Cloud technology. Hired Candidates need to work in Zhongwei city of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region


Key job responsibilities
Problem solving, primary point of contact for all systems and network hardware problems
- Maintain a high level of system reliability by prioritizing and resolving issue efficiently
- Troubleshoot technical issues on various platforms ranging from systems to networking
- Remediation of physical layer outages, hardware diagnostics and replacement
- Meet on call requirements and response during shift rotations
- Support installation of server racks in line with internal SLAs
- Data Center Technical Support point of contact for all High Severity issues
- Meet SLAs for internal customer uptime
- Supporting operating partners to interact with third party vendors & contractors
- Contribute ideas to improve operational efficiency
- Project Management, deliver small to mid-scale projects including the support of Data Center rollout
- Participate in team meetings for metric analysis and project status updates
- Share knowledge with other technical staff on the best practices related to all service owner issues, Write and enhance technical and operational processes and procedures
