An ideal individual is someone who has knowledge of ETL, data modeling, database architecture and big data solutions. This individual should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key job responsibilities
- We're looking for an entry-level Data Engineer to implement data products and solutions that power our shopping platforms.
- You will work with senior engineers for building data products that power mission critical analytical reports and metrics for Amazon AI products.
- You'll develop data pipelines, implement data quality checks, and implement our engineering best practices.
- You will be building building scalable data systems using latest AWS technologies while maintaining high standards of data quality and reliability.
A day in the life
This data engineer designs, builds, and maintains scalable data pipelines that transform raw information into reliable, high-quality datasets for analytics and machine learning. You will be participating in operational excellence mechanisms to ensure timely, trustworthy data delivery to our customers.
